The Voice offers courses at six different levels, starting from ‘Beginners’ to ‘Proficient’. These levels correspond to the Global Scale of English as put forward by the Council of Europe. The CEF (Common European Framework) gives us the following six (6) levels:

 

A1 : Beginner

A2 : Elementary/ Pre-Intermediate

B1 : Intermediate

B2 : Upper- Intermediate

C1 : Advanced

C2 : Proficient/ Expert

 

All the courses are intended to engage, stimulate and motivate the students so as to help them better their linguistic competence considerably. This comprehensive approach enables students to communicate in English in a relatively short span of time.

 

The academic staff is made up of experienced teachers who make use of the latest teaching methods. A placement test which is given to the students on their first day at school helps to gage their level of English and design their study plan.

 

Courses start on Mondays. Lessons are forty-five (45) minutes long and each class has a maximum of eight (8) students. The Director of Studies is always available for support and advice on academic matters. At the end of the course students receive an attendance certificate which also lists the level of English attained.
